REGIOCLIMA, through its policy formulation component, attempts, among others, to facilitate the integration of adaptation into existing and forthcoming legislation & policies.

As part of this process, stakeholders from all governance levels, including Local and Regional Authorities (LRAs), National Authorities and EU level organisations, are invited to offer their feedback and expertise on specific Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) issues raised by the REGIOCLIMA partners.

The Open Dialogue on Climate Change Adaptation is structured in two levels:

• The European Union level which includes two questions on governance, with an all-encompassing nature, that allow for a generic, EU-wide analysis of the framework on CCA policies. The EU level forum questions are in english.
• The local level, with questions on specific sectors of interest for each country in focus. The local forum questions are in the local languages of the project partners.

You may easily access and participate in the on-going discussion by becoming a member (you only need to provide your name, e-mail and organisation). Once you enter the forum, please feel free to choose the level(s) of discussion you wish to participate, by clicking appropriately on the left column.

The inputs collected through this Open Dialogue process, will be collectively used by the project partners for the elaboration of Climate Change Adaptation policy-related papers, i.e. documents containing policy guidelines / suggestions for the inclusion of climate change provisions into sectoral policies.
